When Can You Resit GCSE?

The main GCSE exams are held in May/June each year.

Resit exams also take place the following May/June (there is no dedicated resit period in January).

Cost of GCSE Resits
School/College Resits: May be free or have a small admin fee.
Private Candidates: Exam fees range from £100–£300 per subject or more for certain subjects. However, our students can enjoy 12% exclusive discount should they choose to sit their exams with our partner Tutors & Exams. More information can be found at our Exams and Assessment fees here.
